1001 Wines You Must Taste Before You Die:

A Wine Tasting Series at The Living Room

Savor Tonight & The Living Room in Boynton Beach are ready to take you on an exploration through the world of wine. They have partnered up to host a series of wine events at The Living Room, that will take attendees on a journey through the book — 1001 Wines to Taste Before You Die.

This sought after book compiles a list of 1001 “must try” wines. These wines are not the greatest wines, but rather wines that are historical, intriguing and influential. The list includes classics, up and coming regions, daring new blends and exciting varietals. The group will learn about the individual wine’s origin, history and character, along with anecdotes about the winemakers, vineyards and the regions.

This book was written by Neil Beckett, who has been the editor of the quarterly review, The World of Fine Wines, since 2004 and who is also a contributor to Harper Wine & Spirits Weekly; with the foreward written by Hugh Johnson, one of the world’s most admired wine writers and the recipient of France’s highest honor, the Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite.

The first event will take place on Tues., July 1st, while the second event is scheduled for Tues., August 5th. The group will start with the beginning of the alphabet with A, B & C wines. Kyle O’Brien from Stacole will guide the group through the tasting.
